Sozo Church is a place where people can connect to God, engage in life-giving community, and feel welcomed. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them for God’s glory. We would love to meet you! Join us this Sunday!
A typical service lasts about 90 minutes, and from the moment you arrive, you’ll be greeted by smiling faces ready to welcome you. Be sure to stop by our Welcome Center and say hello!
Our worship includes a vibrant mix of Spirit-filled songs that invite you to encounter God’s presence. Sozo Kids offers a fun and safe environment for children from newborn through 5th grade, while students in 6th–12th grade enjoy their own engaging, faith-building session during our 11 AM service.
We encourage you to stick around after service — grab a coffee, connect with others, and make some new friends.
The Discovery phase is where your journey begins. Whether you’re new to Sozo or ready to get more involved, this is where you’ll learn who we are and how you can be part of what God is doing here.
Through our Invite Culture, Weekend Services, Welcome Center, and Discovery Luncheon, you’ll experience what makes Sozo Church unique, our history, culture, vision, mission, values, and leadership. This isn’t about pressure to serve, it’s about connection, understanding, and discovering your place in God’s story.
In the Foundations phase, you’ll deepen your understanding of faith and what it means to walk with Jesus.
This short online course (about 1.5 hours) covers the fundamentals of what we believe, explores your spiritual gifts, and ends with a simple ministry application for those ready to serve. You’ll also have the opportunity to complete a Water Baptism course, taking an important next step in your spiritual journey. This phase is all about being equipped and educated—laying the groundwork to live out your faith with purpose and confidence.
This where faith becomes active. This is where discipleship happens, where you get activated, and where your gifts begin to make a difference.
You’ll have several ways to get connected, join a Connect Group, serve on a Dream Team, or take our Freedom in Christ course. Freedom in Christ is a powerful experience that helps you walk in spiritual health and wholeness. It’s highly encouraged for everyone and a key step for those pursuing ministry leadership. Whether you’re leading, serving, or learning, our goal is to see you grow strong, stay healthy, and live fully equipped for everything God has called you to do.
The Empowerment phase is where leaders are built and vision expands. If you feel called to lead within Sozo Church, this is your next step.
Through Leadership Circles and Apprenticeships, we invest in developing healthy, Spirit-led leaders who can guide others with wisdom and excellence.
Our heart is to raise up leaders who serve with humility, build strong teams, and help others grow in their walk with Christ. At Sozo Church, we don’t just develop volunteers — we develop leaders.
We’re passionate about helping every person take their next step in faith — through community, connection, and spiritual development. Along with our weekly Connect Groups for Married Couples, Men, Women, and Young Adults, and our thriving Kidz and Youth ministries, we also provide resources that equip our members to deepen their relationship with Jesus and live out their faith every day.
