The New You

The term “In Christ” is used 130 times in Paul’s letters.

1 Cor. 6:17; Col. 1:27; Eph. 1:3

(Eph. 1:3 Norlie) – …who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing that heaven itself enjoys.

The word “Union” in Webster’s is defined as a uniting or being united; combination; a combining, joining, or grouping together.

(John 15:4-5)

“Abide” means to remain or make it you’re dwelling.

Discovering the New You

1. Read the Owner’s Manual.

The Bible is God’s blueprint for your life, revealing who you are in Christ.

(Acts 17:28 NLT)

2. Believe What You Read in the Manual.

This will require you to renew your mind to God’s portrait of who you are.

Rom. 12:2; Eph. 4:22-24

The Word of God is designed to change how you see yourself (2 Tim. 3:16-17).

3. Act Like it’s so.

This can be seen in our speech and actions (James 1:22).

What are you saying about yourself?

What you believe about yourself will be seen in how you talk about yourself, and how you speak about yourself will determine the forecast of your life.
